Brandyn Mungo was born in Detroit, Michigan and raised in Inkster, Michigan. He graduated from Detroit Renaissance High School in 2009 and went on to graduate from Fisk University in Nashville in 2014. During his years at Fisk Brandyn was very active on campus and served as the captain of the Men’s Basketball Team. There Brandyn received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Management. Brandyn recently graduated with honors in the top 20% of his class with a Juris Doctorate Degree from Western Michigan University’s Thomas M. Cooley Law School.
In July 2018, Brandyn passed Michigan Bar Examination, making him a Licensed attorney. He currently practices employment and labor law in Downtown Detroit, Michigan.
Brandyn has always enjoyed helping others and giving back. From 2013-2015 he was a youth counselor for elementary and middle school aged kids with the YMCA of Middle Tennessee. Brandyn now looks to further his involvement within the community by joining the board of Directors of BUILDing Futures.
